Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our hospitality team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. Your commitment to providing exceptional service will ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You must be able to work Saturday and Sunday, and holidays.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, and surfaces, to meet high cleanliness standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and toiletries as needed.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the housekeeping management team promptly.
- Assist with laundry duties as required, ensuring that all linens are cleaned and organized efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
- Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing friendly service to guests during their stay.
Skills
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in all aspects of housekeeping.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in floor care methods for various surfaces, including carpet, tile, and hardwood.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
