InnSeason Resorts The Falls at Ogunquit is looking for someone to join our amazing team as a Houseperson/Runner. You will deliver supplies to and restock our housekeeping with linen, paper products or refills of housekeeping supplies. You will also perform daily assistance to the housekeepers by supplying them with clean linen, taking away dirty linen, emptying trash and recyclables, sweeping public areas and generally providing help where needed.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Deliver housekeepers bags of clean linen to their housekeeping sections
- Collect dirty linen and trash/recyclables that housekeepers remove from all units
- Frequently check pool area for dirty pool towels/restock clean towels when needed
- Empty cigarette urns weekly
- Assist the laundry attendant with folding of the sheets and towels
- Delivery of cots, extra mattresses, high chairs, robes and cribs
- Change of light bulbs when requested
- Delivery of missing inventory of the housekeepers units upon request; example: Dishware, Blankets, Shower Curtains etc…..
Skills Required:
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the resort on a timely basis.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual activity. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
- Ability to work in all-weather environments.
