Piper Shores is Maine’s premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community. We are looking for Housekeepers to Join our Environmental Services team at our newly constructed Meadows campus which includes 52 apartments, cottages, and estate homes to complement our Oceanside campus.
Job Title: Housekeeper
Responsibilities:
- Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, cottages, estate homes and common areas such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and dusting.
- Launders residents’ flat linen and changes their sheets, if requested.
- Flexibility to work where needed and with a positive attitude are essential.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Maintains confidentiality and respect for residents and co-workers at all times.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in housekeeping preferred; we will provide training for entry-level candidates.
- Warm and friendly demeanor with a positive approach to interacting with Seniors
- Ability to stand and move for extended period of time, ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently required.
