We are seeking a positive, dedicated, driven housekeeper to join our growing company providing housekeeping services to group living environments. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and other general residential cleaning duties. Attention to detail and experience with customer service is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products in excellent condition; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products
- Perform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors as needed
- Dispose of trash and recyclables from bins and containers
- Dust, polish and vacuum furniture as needed
- Scrub sinks, basins, showers, and toilets in bathrooms
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
- Keep all public spaces neat and tidy
- Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Place orders, receive deliveries and process paperwork for supplies
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to 2 years of high school education
- Physically able to push vacuum cleaner and or mop for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry 25 to 30 pounds
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time
- Previous experience of cleaning preferred;
- Pay attention to detail when cleaning
- Organized and able to follow a schedule
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Working knowledge of email, Microsoft Office or Google Suite

The pay range for this role is:
18 - 20 USD per hour(Alpha Omicron Pi - Alabama)
