Position: Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Reports to: Executive Housekeeper, Assistant General Manager and General Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness in all our guest rooms and public areas while promoting safety and positive guest relations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Wear appropriate uniforms and name tag at all times
Thoroughly cleans all guest rooms and areas assigned
Responsible for proper usage of all supplies and equipment
Communicates with the Housekeeping Department regarding clean and available rooms
Reports any damage, missing items or maintenance needs in all assigned rooms
Stocks housekeeping cart neatly with appropriate linen and supplies
Responsible for all keys issued and follows all key control policy-signed keys in and out- key log
Adheres to brand standards
Reports any unusual/suspicious activity immediately
Utilizes proper conservative measures such as use of thermostats and lighting
Promotes positive guest and employee relations
Acknowledges guests with a pleasant smile and appropriate greeting
Prepares necessary work orders for maintenance
Complies with all company policies and procedures
Maintains good personal hygiene habits
Performs any other duty assigned by management
QUALIFACTION STANDARDS
Substantial lifting required, up to 50lbs
Wears closed toe rubber sole shoes
Requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching and lifting
Stands and walks during the majority of shift
Handles chemical cleaners
Honest and Reliability
Hotel experience preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
