Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custodial services and have experience in hospitality settings, particularly within hotels or similar establishments.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to maintain schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Provide exceptional service to guests by addressing any requests or concerns related to cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices within the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
