Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human resources functions and will assist in managing employee relations, talent management, and compliance with employment labor laws. This role is essential in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that HR processes run smoothly.
Duties
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Support talent management initiatives, including onboarding new employees and conducting orientation sessions.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with employment labor laws and regulations.
- Help with payroll processing using Paylocity or UltiPro, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation.
- Participate in organization design projects to enhance workforce efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in affirmative action planning and reporting to promote diversity within the organization.
- Support change management initiatives by communicating updates and providing necessary training materials to employees.
- Collaborate with HR team members on various projects related to employee engagement and development.
- Provide administrative support for HR functions, including preparing contracts and documentation for new hires.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HR assistant or relevant human resources administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with talent management systems such as Oracle is a plus.
- Knowledge of employment labor law principles and practices is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in using HR software tools such as Paylocity or UltiPro is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
