Position Overview
2020 Mobile Corp is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our team! If you're organized, a great communicator, and eager to support a growing team, we’d love to hear from you.
This position will help support approximately 360 full-time and part-time employees (and growing) in several states, including some areas with a Spanish-preferred speaking workforce.
We're Looking for:
- Experience with day-to-day HR tasks (HRIS systems, general paperwork, onboarding, offboarding).
- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion.
- Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team, with flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Proven experience in a remote work environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Experience with BambooHR is a definite plus.
- Someone who takes initiative to share ideas.
- Approachable and appropriate in interacting with staff at all levels in a rapidly changing environment.
Responsibilities:
- General HR administrative tasks as assigned/needed.
- Update Employee Database Records
- Onboarding and Offboarding Related Tasks
- Assist the HR Team with administering various employee programs.
- Assist with recruiting efforts as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of two (2) years as a Human Resources Assistant. We are open to STAR candidates (Skilled Through Alternative Routes) who may not have a university degree, but have the necessary experience and skill set.
- Experience with BambooHR preferred.
- Experience with time systems (Humanity system a plus, but will train).
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Existing familiarity with federal and state employment laws, and/or a willingness and ability to learn laws for other states.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Must pay great attention to detail.
- Must be highly organized and possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and email.
- At minimum, a moderate skill level with Google Docs.
Work Environment/Requirements:
- Remote (must be based in CO; Denver area preferred; relocation not available)
- Days: Tuesday–Friday
- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week to start; day/afternoon schedule (This position could move into full-time after a successful training period.)
- More than 95% computer and phone-related tasks.
- Your remote work environment must be free from ongoing activity and noise.
- Ability to sit for the majority of the workday (or sit/stand if you use a standing desk); use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ongoing computer screen use.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Compensation Overview:
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour, DOE.
- The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
