We are looking for an Administrative Assistant/Human Resource coordinator position. This position is full-time, split between these two roles. This is a great way to start your career in or increase your knowledge of human resources. Stellar Care and Services provides residential and day program supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have an amazing team who work hard and have fun!

Main Job duties


  • Assists with recruiting, interviewing, and new hire orientation and safety training.
  • Maintains employee files.
  • Acts as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Assists with updating company policy and procedures with revisions when needed to ensure compliance with employment guidelines/laws.
  • Assists and participates in Staff Meetings and/or team-building events.
  • Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Assists Directors with the development of and delivery of Employment Law training annually.
  • HRIS system administration
  • Receive, screen, and direct telephone and/or email communications. Greet or assist internal or external customers.
  • Compile information using various resources to prepare, assemble, or generate reports, documentation, training materials, presentations, etc.
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry and copying/distributing documents and materials.

Qualifications/Education


  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of experience as an administrative assistant; or equivalent is preferred.
  • One year of Human Resources experience is preferred.
  • A background in working or advocating for individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Experience in a human services field preferred

Job Hours


  • A schedule of Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
