Job Summary
We are looking for an organized, enthusiastic, and people-oriented Human Resources/Operations Intern to assist in supporting our growing virtual team. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates eager to explore HR processes, operations management, and organizational development in a remote, mission-driven environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the employee/intern experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment processes including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates
- Support onboarding and orientation programs for new interns, volunteers, and staff
- Help maintain personnel files and internal HR documentation in Google Workspace
- Coordinate virtual meetings, performance check-ins, and team development activities
- Assist in tracking internship timelines, attendance, and productivity reports
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, organizing virtual documents, and maintaining internal communications
- Contribute to drafting HR policies, guides, and SOPs for remote work culture
- Collaborate across departments to support operational needs and ensure team efficiency
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Interest in HR practices, organizational development, and remote operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, etc.)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to contribute to team success
