As an i9 Sports Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun, engaging, and educational environment for young athletes. You will lead activities, teach fundamental sports skills, ensure safety, and promote positive values such as teamwork and sportsmanship. The shift will be M-F from 8am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate daily activities and sports drills as outlined in the camp curriculum.
- Supervise and engage with campers to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Promote teamwork, respect, and positive behavior among campers.
- Assist with set-up and clean-up of camp activities.
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating enthusiasm, professionalism, and a love for sports.
- Communicate with parents and staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a camp or sports setting.
- Basic knowledge of a variety of sports.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
