Role: IAM Share Drive Remediation Specialist

Job Summary –
· We are seeking an experienced IAM Share Drive Remediation Specialist with experience of 9+ years, to lead access control cleanup and governance across shared drives and network file systems. This role requires strong experience in IAM principles, access reviews, entitlement remediation, and security best practices for unstructured data environments

Technical Skills:
· Conduct analysis and remediation of access control issues across shared drives, network folders, and file shares.
· Identify excessive, orphaned, and non-compliant permissions and take corrective actions in line with security policy.
· Collaborate with IAM and InfoSec teams to implement least-privilege access principles and data classification.
· Review and clean up group and user access to shared drives based on entitlement reviews and audit findings.
· Work closely with business stakeholders to validate access requirements and communicate changes.
· Automate reporting and remediation where possible using scripts or IAM tools.
· Assist in developing guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and access governance models.
· Support audit and compliance activities by providing documentation and remediation status.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 9 years of experience in IAM, IT security, or infrastructure security roles.
- Hands-on experience with file share access reviews and remediation (Windows Shares, NAS, etc.).
- Knowledge of access control models (RBAC/ABAC), directory services (AD), and security groups.
- Familiarity with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or equivalent is a plus.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or scripting for automation of access review tasks is preferred.
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and audit processes.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in large enterprise environments
· Good understanding of IAM architecture and deployment design
· Analyze IAM system logs and analyzing application, network and other logs as part of troubleshooting.
· Good understanding and working experience in configuring secure integrations with external services: LDAP/S, RADIUS, etc.
· Experience with analyzing and documenting business requirements and interfacing with system/platform owners
· Remediation of NHA, Local Accounts, Entitlements, Application Segregation ofDuties (ASoD), fine-grain and other issues tied to the survey results for applications in scope.
· Engage with application teams to drive and track remediation of applications with fine grained entitlements not adhering to IAM policy requirements.
· Engage with application teams to drive and track remediation of applications with sub-components not adhering to IAM policy requirements.
· Develop and implement detailed and executive level reporting to track remediation activities including burndown charts to demonstration risk reduction throughout the remediation timeline
· Mitigate risk associated with business delayed responses and unresolved issues.
· Compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
· Improve our ability to track and monitor high priority tickets
· Validate entitlements are set up correctly to satisfy course grain/fine grain requirements
Technology:
· Should have worked on tools related to Oracle Identity Manager
· Advance Excel skillset Pivots, Macros dashboard reporting
· Should have used technology related to IAM Gaps Remediation Planning
Education qualification:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Certifications Needed:
· Very Good Communication Skill, Advance Level Excel, Power Point Skills Needed.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
