## Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to join our seasonal vaccine service program. We are looking for folks with availability Monday and Wednesday at least.
We anticipate immunization nurses being needed from mid September until January 1st.
The ideal candidate is one that has substantial experience from the COVID-19 pandemic, and is familiar with mass immunization clinics and general workflow.
Nurses will work either in our store (79 Tinker Street, Woodstock), at consistent, remote locations throughout northern Ulster County, or at workplace/organization immunization events.
## Duties
- Perform health coaching and educate patients on immunization choices
- Administer vaccinations based on CDC best-practices, including SIRVA prevention
- Utilize emergency protocols in the event of adverse event/anaphylaxis from vaccination
- Properly document and maintain immunization records
- Implement infection control protocols
- Assist in medical office procedures
## Requirements
- Valid nursing license and relevant certifications
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, specifically vaccination clinics
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
