Job Summary
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and enthusiastic Infant Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of infants during their most critical stages of development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants (ages 6 weeks to 18 months)
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining daily routines
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff about each child's development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with infants in a licensed child care setting preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet state and local health requirements
- Warm, patient, and dependable personality
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
