An Installer is responsible for window and door installation of a single job site. Ensures customer satisfaction; conducts pre-arrival planning for materials and resources; confirms measurement of window and doors prior to the commencement of work; performs routine to complex window or door installations; and provides direction and/or training to an Installers in accordance with Andersen’s guidelines.
Provides flawless first-time window and door installation. Oversees single site job installation processes and customer satisfaction. Assures pre-arrival planning for materials and resources are completed. Makes necessary decisions about work site set up, workflow and proper installation techniques. Provides work direction to assigned installation crew members: Lead Installers, Installers, Helpers, Tech Measurers and Sub-contractors to ensure effective utilization of resources, overseeing the entire installation process throughout multiple crews and sites. Assures compliance with Andersen’s installation procedures.
Addresses installation concerns with the Installation Manager and / or customer as necessary. Primary contact for any type of installation, product or homeowner concerns relating to the installation process for their assigned crews. Meets or exceeds customer satisfaction.
Ensures proper safety techniques are utilized while on Company property, utilizing a Company vehicle or equipment and on the job site. Accountable for all installer safe work practices, including but not limited to, PPE, fall protection, power tool use, and proper lifting requirements. Conducts site safety hazard analysis to bring awareness to potential hazards
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Valid driver's license and clean driving record- High school Diploma or equivalent experience
- Responsible attendance and punctuality
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques
- Basic math skill, reading, and legible writing
- Window and Door installation experience
- Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings and hardware
- General understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices in construction environments
- Safety knowledge of all equipment
- Proficient and safe with power tools, miter box, hand and air tools, and ladder safety
- Flexibility; willingness to work variable work schedules
- Ability to provide corrective action feedback relating to safety on the job site
- Ability to lift up to 83 pounds
- Consistently provides flawless first-time window and door installation
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $16.35-$24.50 hourly plus incentive

PROFIT SHARING: In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
