Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Wrap units with insulation material, including cutting and measuring material for placement on unit
Fits, adjusts, installs or fastens unit or component parts to a unit.
Performs housekeeping and other duties as required.
PHYSICAL / MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lifting 50 lbs. (occasional)
- Standing (constant)
- Walking (frequently)
- Bending (frequently)
- Climbing (occasional)
- Crawling (occasional)
- Reaching (frequent)
- Grasping (frequent)
- Sitting (occasional)
- Vision corrected to 20/20.
- Handling equipment (frequently)
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
- Manufacturing – Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), cold/heat (outdoor).
- Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Tape measure, small hand tools, power tools, crane, brazing torch.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of hand tools.
- Ability to read measuring tape.
- Good hand dexterity required to fit and assemble product.
- Perform math at a level normally acquired through completion of high school. Ability to maintain clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
- Willingness to actively participate in a Continuous Improvement Team
- Must be able to understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
