Responsibilities:Please note, that this is a sales position!
- Meet with individuals, families, and businesses to assess their insurance and financial protection needs
- Recommend personalized insurance solutions, including life insurance, annuities, and retirement strategies
- Guide clients through the application and underwriting process with professionalism and care
- Generate new business through networking, referrals, and community engagement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by conducting regular policy reviews and offering proactive support
- Collaborate with underwriters, financial advisors, and New York Life team members to deliver comprehensive financial strategies
- Stay current with industry developments and continue your professional education through company-sponsored training
- Operate with integrity and maintain compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards
These responsibilities enable New York Life agents to effectively guide clients in achieving financial security and help build long-lasting client relationships.
Please note, that this is a sales position!
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or financial services is preferred
- Exceptional communication skills—you can simplify complex topics and build trust easily
- Strong listening, analytical, and consultative abilities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
- A genuine desire to help others and make an impact
- Familiarity with life insurance, annuities, or retirement planning is a plus, but not required—we provide full training
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Must be willing to obtain a Life & Health insurance license (licensing sponsorship and training provided)
- Bilingual abilities (especially in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese) are a strong advantage for serving diverse clients
