Title: Interior Designer

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 1–4 years of experience to join our collaborative team and help bring our clients’ visions to life.

What does a Interior Designer with Paul Davis do?
As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing interior remodeling projects from concept to completion. You’ll work closely with clients, project managers, and contractors to ensure that each space is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with the client’s goals and budget.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to determine design preferences, project requirements, and budget constraints.
- Create mood boards, design concepts, and detailed floor plans using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
- Select and source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design integrity throughout construction.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for client meetings.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any design-related issues.
- Stay current on design trends, building codes, and remodeling best practices.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- 1–4 years of professional interior design experience.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction processes and building materials is a plus.
- NCIDQ certification or progress toward certification is a preferred but not required
Working Conditions
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods while working on a computer
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
