As an International Exchange Coordinator, you’ll guide life-changing experiences that bring High School students from around the world into American communities. In return, you’ll not only grow personally and professionally—you’ll gain opportunities to travel abroad, build global friendships, and experience other cultures in person through our wider network of international exchange programs and partner connections.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: PLEASE READ
- Location: You must be based within 120 miles of location listed above.
- Age: You need to be at least 25 years old to work in this capacity.
- Independent Contractor: This is a 1099 position, offering commission-based compensation—there’s no base or hourly pay.
- Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation: A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required for travel to meet students and host families.
- U.S. Residency: You must be a year-round U.S. resident with authorization to work in the U.S.
- Background Check: A background check is required in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Emergency Housing: Be willing to provide temporary housing in a spare room in your home for a student in case of an emergency.

- Promote Hosting Opportunities
- Engage local families in the transformative experience of hosting an exchange student.
- Match Students with Host Families
- Thoughtfully pair students and families for lasting, meaningful connections.
- Provide Ongoing Support
Be a trusted guide for students and families throughout the program year. Equip students and families with the tools they need to thrive in a new cultural environment. Partner with schools and organizations to create a strong, inclusive local support network. Monitor student well-being, document their journey, and celebrate cultural milestones.
