Description of Work

Murdoch Developmental Center is currently accepting applications for an Inventory Associate I/Stock Clerk Lead position. This position performs a variety of duties. The Stock Clerk Lead directs the day-to-day assignments of 4-6 warehouse employees and controls the receiving and distribution of all items used at the center. This includes ensuring the accuracy of records, documentation, receipts, and inventory. In addition, the delivery, stock and receipt of Medical, Office, Toiletries, Housekeeping and Dietary supplies from the Central Warehouse and off-site locations. Assist with conducting weekly, monthly, and annual inventories to ensure the integrity of reported and actual usage and par levels. Disseminates work orders, plans and coordinates management request for relocation. Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of the Stock Room in a safe, clean, and organized manner.

Work schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.


This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance, paid sick/vacation/holidays, retirement, etc.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High School or General Education Development (GED) diploma and two years of related experience
or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.
