Job Summary
The IT Manager – Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of the company’s Enterprise Performance Management solutions, with a primary focus on driving adoption and expansion of Anaplan use cases. This role will partner closely with Finance, Operations, and other business units to translate strategic goals into scalable models, ensure platform governance, and evaluate emerging EPM technologies to ensure our solutions remain best-in-class.
Primary Job Responsibilities
This position manages work across multiple information systems and projects.
  • Serve as the primary IT owner for Anaplan, overseeing solution architecture, model design, data integrations, and security.
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and other teams to identify and prioritize new Anaplan use cases that drive measurable business value.
  • Define and enforce governance, data standards, and development best practices for EPM platforms.
  • Maintain a forward-looking view of the EPM technology landscape and recommend enhancements or alternatives as business needs evolve.
  • Works with senior leadership to develop team goals in line with department objectives.
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with IT leadership.
  • Conducts performance and development reviews per HR guidelines. Takes corrective actions, including Performance Improvement Plans and terminations, when necessary.
  • May lead problem management teams comprised of senior engineering resources in solving high-complexity, high-impact enterprise issues.
  • Manages vendor relationships with hardware and software solutions and tools.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive products in the EPM space (e.g., Workday Adaptive Planning, Oracle EPM Cloud, Planful, Board).
  • Conduct platform assessments, proofs-of-concept, and vendor evaluations to inform future investment decisions.
  • Translates and champions IT strategy to functional unit.
  • Achieves financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action within functional unit.
  • Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by supporting strategic plans for implementing and supporting information technologies.
  • Assists with defining enterprise IT policies and procedures to ensure the protection of information assets.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one area.
  • Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • Typically requires a university Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 4-6 years prior relevant experience.
Required Skills
  • Broad understanding of business practices and operations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Anaplan model building and architecture.
  • Proven track record delivering EPM solutions that drive tangible business improvements.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management processes.
  • Experience with data integration tools, APIs, and relational data modeling.
Preferred Skills
  • Anaplan Certified Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner certification.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing alternative EPM platforms (Adaptive, Oracle, Planful, Board, etc.).
