Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring that all systems run smoothly. Responsibilities
- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Daily follow-up on all Service Ticket requests using our internal NPS system.
- Daily follow up on all Service Ticket requests using an outsourced Cypritech portal.
- Escalate service tickets to outsourced Cypritech firm if required.
- Assist users with software installations, configuration, and upgrades.
- Educate users on IT policies and best practices.
- Conduct routine backups and ensure data integrity.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Monitor network activity and implement security measures to protect against threats.
- Provide training to users on new hardware, software, policies, etc.
- Oversee data storage capacity.
- Update company phone directory.
- Reset account password and pins for locked or suspended accounts.
- Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure.
- Prepare monthly Service Ticket report and share with management.
- Create and/or update IT documentations.
- Perform computer skill tests for potential new hires.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Clearing “Pick-Up” tab on Container spreadsheet for older orders and backing up data on shared drive. TWICE A MONTH

- Development of RPA tools to improve business process.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in the ERP system.
- Basic support to the ERP and other company software.
- Aid in customer complaints when requested by management.
- Bi-lingual – Fluent in English and Spanish
Experience
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in computer Technology or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of one year in Basic Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with computer hardware, software, and networks is essential.
- Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are crucial for assisting users and collaborating with other IT professionals.
- Attention to Detail: Being organized and detail-oriented helps in maintaining accurate records and managing assets.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and stay updated with new technologies.
