- Assist in project planning and execution:
- Collaborate with IT Project Managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Support the coordination and execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to project management best practices.
- Assist in identifying project risks, issues, and dependencies, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder management:
- Engage and collaborate with project stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Communicate project updates, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure project success.
- Project coordination and tracking:
- Assist in coordinating project resources, tasks, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
- Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and report on project status to the PMO.
- Support the maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, risk logs, and change requests.
- Quality assurance and risk management:
- Contribute to ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business requirements.
- Identify and assess project risks, and assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans.
- Participate in project reviews and lessons learned sessions to continuously improve project delivery processes.
- Collaboration and teamwork:
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business analysis teams, to ensure project success.
- Act as a point of contact for team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
SCOPE & IMPACT:
This position takes on a crucial role in supporting the planning, executing, and overseeing IT projects within the organization. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams, they ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT project management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve project-related issues.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, ServiceNow) is preferred.
