Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated journeyman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in layout, safely operating power tools, reading prints, and following directions. This role involves working with large metal components to create and assemble structures or products according to specifications.
Duties
- Utilize power tools and welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure and refer to prints as well as technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
- Adhere to industry codes and standards for welding practices.
- Must be able to show up to work on time
- Must be willing to travel
- Must have drivers license and reliable transportation
- Work with steel to build structures or components as outlined in project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and structural steel.
- Ability to read prints and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
