As an employee working the "take out" station, you are the link between the kitchen, customers, online ordering systems and incoming calls . You will be responsible for packaging multiple take out orders effectively in a fast paced environment while taking incoming orders and correctly entering their orders and sending them to the cook and kitchen staff. Responsibilities:
- Take orders over the phone and manually enter orders into kitchen cpu system
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Package correct meal items into the to go containers and make sure orders go to correct customers
- keep a clean station and stock items when needed
- Maintaining customer bathroom cleanliness
- Verify payments for all orders before handing food to customers
- Ensure positive customer experiences
- Maintain a "can do" positive attitude and work with kitchen staff to complete opening/closing checklists
- Experience in a restaurant or similar position is preferred
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
- Organized and can think clearly under pressure
