We are seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to join our team Thursday - Monday 8am- 4 pm
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within our kitchen and dining areas. This position is essential for ensuring that our operations run smoothly, providing support to cooks and servers while upholding high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas by performing regular cleaning tasks.
- Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Support cooks by preparing ingredients, organizing supplies, and following instructions during meal preparation.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to health regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or catering environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food handling practices, is advantageous.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in all tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
