Kitter Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Kitter to join our production team. The Kitter will play a crucial role in preparing materials for assembly by accurately gathering and organizing components according to specifications. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather and organize components needed for production runs based on work orders and specifications.
- Ensure that all materials are correctly labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Inspect materials for quality and report any discrepancies or defects to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of kitting tasks.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking component usage and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking may be required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
