S.E. Minor & Co, an established Surveying, Engineering, Environmental, and Planning Firm based in Greenwich, CT, is seeking an Environmental and Planning Associate. This position has high growth potential for the right candidate.
Work includes assisting in preparing wetland applications, zoning applications, p&z applications, and other permitting applications as needed.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s or higher in Planning, Environmental, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or related field;
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, follow direction and work in a team environment; and
- Knowledge of or ability to learn local and regional land use plans and initiatives
- Knowledge of or ability to learn environmental regulations
- Knowledge of or ability to learn land use, zoning, land use management, community services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Skills in Adobe Suite, and/or AutoCAD or similiar programs a plus;
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the preparation of zoning applications, p&z applications, wetland applications, and other permitting applications as needed;
- Attend regulatory meetings related to above applications;
- Assist senior team members in the successful completion of various other projects related to engineering, environmental, planning, development, and more;
- Assist coordinating the obtaining of permits or certifications as required; and
- Liaise with clients and other parties related to each project;
- Provide field inspection services, as needed; and
- Perform other duties as requested.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
