Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional landscapes. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision and translating it into innovative designs that enhance the aesthetic and environmental value of properties. The Landscape Designer will work on various projects, including high end residential residences.
Duties
- Develop comprehensive landscape designs that meet client specifications and project requirements.
- Utilize design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp to create detailed drawings and presentations.
- Draft site plans, planting plans, and hardscape layouts that incorporate sustainable practices.
- Collaborate with clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate conditions and constraints affecting design proposals.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape design or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with hardscape materials, plant selection, and sustainable landscaping practices is preferred.
- Strong drafting skills with attention to detail in creating accurate plans and specifications.
