Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess the skills necessary to maintain and enhance various landscapes. This role involves a variety of tasks including gardening, groundskeeping, and general landscape maintenance. The Landscape Laborer will contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces while ensuring the health and safety of plants and trees.
Responsibilities
- Perform general landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Utilize hand tools effectively for planting, digging, and building landscape features.
- Assist in tree care activities including pruning and removal as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment.
- Participate in snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Qualifications
- Experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various landscaping tasks.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment.
