Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and well-kept. This role requires a combination of technical skills and hands-on experience in landscape maintenance, landscape installation, and groundskeeping. Responsibilities
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure properties are visually appealing.
- Utilize hand tools and mechanical equipment effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Construct retaining walls and other hardscapes.
- Assist in building landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Fall/Winter firewood production, stacking, and delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate landscaping machinery safely.
- Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and techniques.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools for various landscaping tasks.
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
