This is more than golf. This is Grassy.
We are looking to add a new landscaper to our team.
- Ability to create and implement daily/weekly/monthly/seasonal maintenance programs.
- Maintains landscaping grounds for aesthetics and sustaining plant life.
- Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
- Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
- Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
- Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Actively pursuing or completed certificate or degree in Horticulture or related field preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of industry experience and have a working knowledge of how to maintain plant material in the southwest.
- Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls; talks or hears.
- Occasionally sits, climbs and balances, tastes or smells.
- Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
- Occasionally experiences vibration.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
