We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and guest laundry are laundered and maintained in a clean and organized manner. Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, including sheets, towels, and blankets
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect linens for stains or damage and pre-treat as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Handle guest laundry requests promptly and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management of linen supplies
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and proper handling of different fabrics
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads
