Schedule:
- Sunday - Wednesday - 10:00am-8:00pm
- Onsite only — remote work is not permitted in this role
- Flexibility is required to cover occasional short-notice gaps.
About the Role:
We’re hiring a Lead GSOC Analyst to take ownership of shift operations in a high-tempo Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can maintain control of live operations, enforce standards, and keep the team responsive and accountable.
You’ll coordinate real-time incidents, monitor global threats, review communications, and provide direct shift support when coverage or execution falls short.
If you’re not comfortable holding the line and leading by example, this is not the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate GSOC operations during assigned shifts, ensuring all tasks and incidents are managed in real-time.
- Act as the first point of escalation for incidents, analyst support, and operational issues.
- Review and approve incident reports, ADVISORY alerts, and real-time security updates written by Analysts.
- Monitor global security events and internal incidents using OSINT platforms and threat intelligence tools.
- Manage incident queues and reassign tasks in Jira to ensure timely response and balanced workload.
- Provide coaching and direction to Analysts during shifts, including quality control of documentation.
- Step in to handle shift coverage during staffing gaps or unplanned absences when coverage cannot be secured.
- Assist Analysts with reviews of graphic, sensitive, or explicit material when escalated.
- Ensure all GSOC systems and platforms are monitored, operational, and escalated if outages occur.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Security, Facilities, and Travel during active incidents.
- Deliver clear, detailed shift handoffs to ensure smooth operational transitions.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience in a GSOC, dispatch, or military intelligence environment.
- 2+ years of experience in a GSOC, threat intelligence, or corporate security operations role.
- Proven experience leading a shift, mentoring peers, or handling real-time escalations in a 24/7 environment.
- Strong OSINT skills and fluency with threat monitoring platforms, incident management systems, and access control tools.
- Comfortable reviewing, editing, and approving high-visibility reports and communications.
- Clear, concise writing skills with strong attention to tone and detail.
- Calm under pressure, decisive, and able to keep others focused during high-tempo operations.
- Willing to step in directly when coverage fails — this is a leadership role, not a desk to hide behind.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be comfortable multitasking across several systems and responding to evolving priorities in real time.
