Job Summary
As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting physical therapists and occupational therapists at the Senior Community Setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in transportation of residents to PT, OT and assisting in treatments as well as some office work.
Duties
- Escort patients to and from treatment areas and coordinate their availability
- Assist therapists during treatment sessions
- Office work on keeping track of documents and uploads, insurance coverage
- Cleaning therapy equipment and therapy room
-Create and coordinate residents and therapy schedules
Requirements
- Interest in working with aging population of seniors ages 80-105
- Strong interpersonal skills for providing quality care and good communication skills
- Ability to conduct exercise class on weekly basis
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is beneficial but not mandatory
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
