Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential or commercial properties, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to effectively market properties to potential renters.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Manage the leasing process from application through to lease signing, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize Appfolio software for managing tenant information, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests.
- Assist with property maintenance inquiries and coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Perform data entry tasks related to leasing activities and maintain accurate records of tenant interactions.
- Engage in upselling opportunities by promoting additional services or amenities that enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop marketing strategies that attract potential renters and increase occupancy rates.
- Maintain knowledge of local real estate market trends and property values to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Experience
- Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with Appfolio or similar property management software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of facilities management and contract negotiations is beneficial.
- Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of successfully closing deals.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous but not required.
