We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property leasing and customer service, with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping clients find their perfect home. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing the leasing process from start to finish, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants.
- Manage the application process, including screening applicants and verifying information.
- Maintain accurate records of all leasing activities and tenant interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure properties are in optimal condition for showings.
- Stay informed about local rental market trends and property regulations, including LIHTC requirements.
- Assist in preparing lease agreements and ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads and follow up with potential tenants.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property leasing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
- Familiarity with customer service best practices and relationship management techniques.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, particularly in file management.
- A background in law or administrative roles is a plus, as well as knowledge of property maintenance practices.
