Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk/Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position, supporting other departments in following up with vendors for requested information, noting files appropriately, and preparing template documents. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Hours are flexible within our normal office hours of Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy using various computer software.
- Support and collaborate with other departments to ensure proper documentation flow and compliance with organizational policies.
- Communicate with vendors via e-mail and phone to obtain requested information.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company protocols.
Experience
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Previous experience in an office assistant or clerical position is a plus but not required.
