Currently, The Mavo seeks a Line Producer to add to its roster of vetted reserve crew which would potentially be inquired upon as future projects arise or develop. This role reports to the Producer of the project.
The Mavo is based in New York City. To be considered for this role, you must be physically located within the New York City region.
Your key responsibilities would be to…
—work with the Producer and others to create a detailed budget for entire projects
—develop a schedule for the entire project
—ensure the budget and schedule are followed during the full range of the project
—work with all departments and department heads across the project
—hire and/or manage key crew members
For this role, we require…
—at least two years of verifiable professional work experience as a Line Producer or as a Unit Production Manager on at least four projects.
—at least three professional references
—United States citizenship or a valid United States green card
—a strong passion for films and the film industry (cinephiles and film geeks are always welcome)
We prefer (but don’t require)…
—a bachelor’s degree or higher in film production, film studies or another closely related field
