Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver for live in care to provide essential support to individuals in a foster home. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a strong understanding of the needs of those requiring assistance to individuals with disabilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and fostering a supportive environment. The position is live-in. Salary included with private master bedroom, internet, TV and food included.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Monitor and document behaviors
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Administer medications as directed by care plans.
- Assist with mobility at times transporting in and out of vehicles
- provide transportation to appointments
- prepare grocery lists
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- first aid and CPR certification is needed
- basic certification certificate through Community living case management is needed
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- drivers license and background check is required
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Understanding of basic cooking skills for meal preparation
- Medication management

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
