Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in anesthesiology and critical care, providing high-quality patient care across various settings. This role involves administering anesthesia, monitoring patients throughout procedures, and ensuring compliance with medical standards and protocols.
Duties
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical or medical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to anesthesia administration, including reviewing medical history and current medications.
- Provide airway management and pain management as necessary.
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to anesthesiology.
- Ensure compliance with NCQA standards and hospital policies regarding patient care and safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Critical care experience is preferred; experience in ICU settings is highly valued.
- Familiarity with geriatrics and pediatrics is a plus.
- Proficiency in airway management techniques and patient monitoring practices.
- Experience administering injections and medication administration protocols.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices within EMR systems such as Epic.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to interpret vital signs effectively.
- Knowledge of pain management strategies relevant to diverse patient populations.

Schedule:
Annual Volume: 5,000+ casesMonday-Thursday (7a-5p) or Monday-Friday, (7a-3p)
8 ORs, 1 OB, 1 cysto, 3 endo, cath lab, MRI, & IR
Diverse caseload, including healthy peds, OB, and trauma; no CT or transplant
Team Structure: 3 MDs & 10-11 CRNAs per day
CRNAs are supervised
EMR: Epic
Paid travel & expenses
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
