SUMMIT Appliance (www.summitappliance.com), a Division of Felix Storch, Inc. (FSI) is a 55-year-old private business, located in both Bronx, NY and Edison, NJ. We are a manufacturer and distributor of major appliances, including vaccine, healthcare and life science refrigeration. We are adding staff in our Bronx NY, facility to handle our recent growth, and the anticipated growth from the largest product expansion in our history. The Logistics Clerk will support our Logistics and Invoicing teams.
Individual responsibilities will include:
- Issuing, tracking and closing purchase orders
- Tracking and coordinating container shipments from factories to our warehouses
- Monitoring payments to suppliers
- Working with international agents, shipping companies, custom's brokers and logistics companies
- Checking shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents
- Double checking invoice accuracy
- Preparing daily reports as needed
- General clerical duties and administrative duties as needed.
Your Qualifications:
- Associate?s degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with any ERP or MRP
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly energetic, independent with the ability to multitask
- Possess meticulous attention to detail
- Able to work independently or as part of a team

We are convenient to public transportation and are close to most major highways We have modern offices, a business casual dress policy and are an operation driven busy environment. The hours for this position are Mon ? Fri 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation: $20 to $22 an hour, commensurate with education and experience
