Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mitigation Team Leader to oversee restoration projects and lead a team in various mitigation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the restoration industry, including fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise with power and hand tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results while ensuring safety and compliance.
Duties
- Lead and manage a team of technicians in restoration projects, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Assess damage and develop appropriate restoration plans for fire, water, mold, and asbestos-related incidents.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform necessary restoration tasks including cleaning, restoring structures, and removing hazardous materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all phases of the mitigation process.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
- Train team members on best practices in restoration techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on fire restoration, water damage restoration, mold remediation, or asbestos abatement.
- Strong knowledge of the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the mitigation process.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assessing damage and implementing solutions.
- Ability to work in various environments while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Certification in relevant areas (e.g., IICRC certification) is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
