Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, senior care facilities, and outpatient clinics. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Assist with medical procedures such as IV insertion and sonography.
- Document patient health information accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, including family planning and health coaching.
- Support patients with daily activities and personal care needs in a compassionate manner.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing or hospital settings preferred.
- Proficient in medical documentation practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus.
- Ability to provide senior care with empathy and respect for patients' dignity.
