We at Orange Family Physicians are seeking a full time staff nurse that holds a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant Certification. Our office is a quick paced, busy environment so we are looking for someone who is willing to work as a team player with good communication skills, eagerness to learn, and valuable patient care experience.
Main task include (but not limited to) providing direct care to our patients and as a nurse here, you would be responsible for managing patient's needs such as refilling prescriptions, answering nurse questions, providing patient's with test results, completing any necessary ordered tests or procedures including (but not limited to) urinalysis, EKGs, spirometry, influenza, covid and strep testing, etc. Duties may also include retrieving the patients from the waiting room, acquiring an accurate set of vital signs, and preparing the patient to see the healthcare provider. With the use of our electronic medical record (EMR) system, you are responsible for documentation in the patient's chart. This position is located in our Madison Office.
