JOB DESCRIPTION: LUBE TECHNICIAN
Primary Function:
Exceed customers’ expectations of service while attending to service and repair demands in a professional manner. Position requires written explanations of services performed clearly documented for every vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consult with shop foreman/shop manager and read work orders to determine work required.
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.
- Order parts needed for repairs/services.
- Perform basic lube oil and filter services as directed.
- Perform other basic preventive maintenance duties as assigned.
- Legibly and accurately record services performed, time accrued and parts used.
- Inform Foreman when job is complete.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Duties may include cleaning shop, emptying trash cans, assisting other technicians when required.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Attend & complete required technical training programs and schools as required.
Qualifications:
- Basic Computer knowledge, basic keyboarding skills, and able to read & write in English.
- Basic knowledge and skills required to perform preventive maintenance on the trucks we service.
- Possess basic hand and/or power tools
- Have a valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record, and be able to get a medical card per DOT guidelines. (CDL NOT REQUIRED)
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb up/down ladders, in/out of vehicles and use power and hand tools.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00/hour

Monday - Friday, day shift.
Full-time, 40+ hours/week.
