About the Mailroom Associate Role:
As a Mailroom Associate, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the smooth flow of document processing within a high-volume mailroom environment. Your responsibilities will focus on sorting, handling, and reviewing physical mail/documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
A typical day includes retrieving mail trays or boxes, removing documents from pre-opened envelopes, and sorting them based on established guidelines. You’ll work closely with quality control procedures to identify discrepancies, ensure proper document classification, and maintain accuracy across every step of the process.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, takes pride in organization and attention to detail, and is comfortable with physical, repetitive tasks in a production-based setting.
Requirements:
We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and thrive in routine-driven environments. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Mail Sorting & Handling: Ability to sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail per processing guidelines
- Ability to spot discrepancies, missing information, or incorrectly sorted items
- Commitment to ensure each piece of mail/document is processed and sorted with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to lift trays or boxes (10–15 lbs) and perform repetitive motions with arms, hands, and wrists
- Ability to sit for long periods while maintaining focus and productivity
- Some experience in an office setting preferred
- A high school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a background check and drug is required for this position

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $26,600- $33,250.
