Property maintenance and project management on single family houses and small apartment buildings.
This is a part time position with a potential to grow into a full time position, if you possess multiple skills. RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine maintenance, and repairs on household fixtures and items including faucets, toilets, lights and fans, doors and windows
- Perform light renovation including painting, replacing lights & fans, replacing flooring etc.
- Get estimates for larger projects, order parts and supplies, and coordinate the completion of projects
- Work with onsite caretakers to keep buildings in presentable conditions. Assisting with lawn/snow care, and equipment maintenance.
- Perform inspections and provide preventive care on HVAC
- Enter maintenance requests, updating the ticket status, and keep track of related expenses on our property management system on a computer
You are expected to bring experience, work with little supervision after getting familiar with the system, and work with the property manager, and virtual administrators to get the tasks completed in a timely fashion.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have at least 1-years maintenance experience
- Computer literate to be able to use email, and software applications
- Meet compliance required background check since you would need to go inside other people's home.
- Have a valid drivers license, a dependable vehicle, valid vehicle insurance
- Budget conscious, and be creative in saving resources and money.
- Efficient and organized. Know how to prioritize, and multi-tasking
- Be willing to work evening and weekends as needed for urgent matters.
- Friendly and empathetic.
The properties are mostly located in Minneapolis & St Paul, and a few suburbs in the South metro. Living in nearby area would cut your commute time. You have the opportunity to live at one of the properties with a discount when available.
MENTAL & PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
- The work is described as heavy in physical demand.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
- Outdoor actives require exposure to seasonal weather and the associated temperature fluctuations.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
