Job Summary
As the leader of the maintenance team, responsible for ensuring optimal performance of production equipment (stamping presses, injection molding machines, welding robots) through preventive maintenance, rapid breakdown response, and technical upgrades. Requires expertise in TPM, automation systems, and team leadership to minimize downtime and maximize OEE in a multi-shift manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance
Execute PM plans for presses, molders, and assembly lines, ensuring daily inspections and calibrations.
Lead RCA for critical breakdowns to achieve MTTR ≤1 hour.
- Team Leadership
Manage technicians across shifts, track KPIs (uptime, cost control), and provide technical training (PLC, robotics).
- Spare Parts & Cost
Optimize spare parts inventory (ABC analysis) and negotiate supplier contracts for cost savings.
- Safety & Compliance
Enforce OSHA standards (LOTO, confined space permits) and implement safety retrofits (machine guarding).
- Continuous Improvement
Drive TPM initiatives (autonomous maintenance, Kaizen) and adopt predictive maintenance technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with production to optimize equipment utilization and support NPI equipment trials.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in industrial maintenance; automotive industry preferred.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-Hour, CMRP, or PMP preferred.
Skills:
- Proficient in PLC (Siemens, Mitsubishi), robotics (Fanuc, ABB) troubleshooting.
- Expertise in CMMS and data analysis tools; bilingual (English/Mandarin) required.
- Fluent in English, and those with the ability to speak Spanish and Chinese are preferred.
- Attributes: Decisive leader, adaptable to 24/7 emergency response.

- Shift rotation/on-call duty required;
- Exposure to oil/noise; full PPE (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes) mandatory;
- Customer-specific training (e.g., Toyota TPM) provided post-hire.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
