As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic of the property by maintaining the building systems and responding to repair needs efficiently. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hr - Paid Weekly
Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair duties including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general carpentry.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and mechanical areas to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff service requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts, and ensure safe storage and handling.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for larger repairs or special projects.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and building codes.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work performed.
Maintenance Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance, preferably in a hospitality or residential setting.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
